Festive Makeup To Inspire Your Holiday Outfit

To me, nothing screams Christmas more than a vibrant red lip. So to downplay the red lipstick, I created a subtle bronze smokey eye with my Smashbox Full Exposure Palette (which by the way, is full of glittery colors that are perfect for the holidays!). On the lid is a deep golden shimmery brown and on the outer lid is the darkest shimmery brown. I packed on each shade with a wet brush to get the full-on glittery effect. My lower lash line is lined with the darkest shimmery brown and I placed the lightest shimmer shade in my inner tear duct.

Since my eyes and lips were pretty dramatic, I tried to keep my skin dewy and fresh with the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, and NARS Laguna Bronzer.

Last but not least, my lipstick is the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in 69. This lipstick is so creamy, pigmented, and hydrating — it never leaves my lips dry!

Hope you like the look and let me know if you plan on recreating it on Christmas! Also, since I’m feeling extra festive, enjoy the couple of extra pics of my Christmas tree.
