Confident In Fall Colors

Confident In Fall Colors

With the new autumn season, it means a shift not just in temperature, but in temperament. While the summer season promotes a carefree and relaxed attitude, fall offers a more grounded aura. This is best expressed through the colors of the season. Rina shows us how:

Grays give a feeling of stability, Red tones invite confidence and warmth, while the hot Pinkish Purples and Spicy Mustard Yellows suggest a touch of the exotic.

One thing I love about Fall is the colour palette change. You can wear one colour at a time or match several together to create one unified look. As quoted above, grays, red tones and mustard yellows are favourable colour suggestions for this fall season (Click here to see more suggested colours from the 2016 Pantone Fashion Color Report). Who knew you could convey confidence through your wardrobe colour choices? I’m definitely feeling a little boost with this colour palette! For this outfit I paired a camel (yellow tone) coloured jacket with a maroon (red tone) maxi and grey wool hat.

How do you work fall colours into your wardrobe? What is your favourite colour to wear for fall?

Whether it was with my sky-high hairstyles or slight uniform infractions, I was always looking for a way to stand out amongst my conformed peers. To this day, I still find myself testing the boundaries with my fashion choices and encouraging others to do the same.
