Many are excited to leave 2018 behind and are ready to move forward into the new year. But let us take the time to reflect on and understand what took place in 2018. Numerous women rose up to fight and challenge the status quo. The country experienced collective headaches and heartaches. But as Elenor Rosevelt said, “With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” So let us thank 2018, for it challenged us more than we thought possible, and be ready to take on 2019 as we are now stronger than before.
