The weather is finally heating up and this is the best time to prepare our wardrobe for the upcoming summer. Luckily, summer 2015 trends have become more comfortable and practical, which is a perfect fit for a busy mom like myself. With just a little effort, you can pick your favourite trend and look fashionable and trendy without going out of your comfort zone. Here are my 5 comfy, fashion tips for the summer:
THE DENIM TREND
As you have seen in my previous blog posts , denim is the hottest trend of this season and it’s one of my favourite choices as it is easy to wear. This trend is now everywhere, from the runway to street style. Don’t be afraid to wear head to toe denim. The combination between light washes and dark ones is a great option. You have so many options on how to wear this versatile fabric, just pick your preference from the wide range of choices, like dresses, jumpsuits, shirts, skirts or jeans.

THE BOHEMIAN DRESSES
Stepping straight out from the 70s, the maxi flowing dresses are making a comeback. The breezy dress is perfect for the hot summer days and it’s comfortable enough for running after your kids at home and outside. Inspired by the hippie-chic look, the bohemian maxi dress is so easy to pull off, especially on these busy days, when you don’t have extra time to decide on what to wear.

FRINGE
Fringe is all over the place this summer, and I am already obsessed with this trend. You can find fringe on everything, from bags, jackets, shoes or skirts. This is a great way to inject some movement without going overboard. Add some fringe and you instantly look trendy and up to date.

SPORTY SHOES
The sneakers continue to be a huge trend. It is a must have piece that every woman needs in her closet. The great news is that you don’t have to sacrifice your comfort for fashion. The sporty trend has been seen everywhere. Many designers saw the potential of these sneakers, especially in this busy modern life, so don’t be afraid to match your feminine skirt by slipping on a pair of sporty sneakers. There is something modern and super cool about these shoes, which I, as a city girl who likes to explore the area by foot, really adore.

FLARE TROUSERS
Another 70s trend is the flare trousers, which means that you don’t have to squeeze into skinny pants or jeans anymore. If you have a pair of wide-leg trousers, take them out of your closets and if not, this is the perfect time to go for a shopping spree. The best way is to team it with a loosely tucked shirt and you will look stylish but comfortable.
