Merry Christmas To You All!

by LnP Admin December 25, 2015

Merry Christmas To You All!

That’s right:  Merry Christmas. But also, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy December Solstice, Happy HumanLight, Happy Festivus, or whatever you celebrate.

So, why are we specifically wishing you a “Merry Christmas” today and not just “Happy Holidays?” Because, to aid in the global effort to have an more accepting community, we want to show that there’s nothing wrong with saying “Merry Christmas” or any of the other greetings. People celebrate different holidays, but it shouldn’t be so taboo to wish a specific holiday unto others. Yes, there is sincerity in being politically correct and wishing people a general “Happy Holidays” as a broad way to respect different holidays. However, often, the intent behind wishing someone a season’s greeting is not from a religious agenda, it’s simply to wish others well during the wintertime. After all, Christmas is more about Santa Clause and less about religion. So, when we say that we’re wishing you and your family a “Merry Christmas,” we are wishing you good cheer and peace during this diverse festive season with the best intentions.

In short, Happy Everything to you! It is a wonderful time of the year.

HAPPY EVERYTHING!
