These Looks From The Met Gala 2018 Are Heaven Sent

These Looks From The Met Gala 2018 Are Heaven Sent

For many, the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala was the best in years. And for good reason! The outfits on display were absolutely stunning. The theme for this year was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” which meant that designers and celebrities could explore the relationship between Catholicism and art/fashion. The Met Gala even received approval from the Vatican and a Catholic cardinal was in attendance for the event. Throughout history, Catholic art and imagery can be described as decadent, elegant, and colorful, which the Met Gala attendees took full advantage of for the evening. To put it simply: the fashion was divine. Here are some of our favorites from the evening.
