Thanksgiving is just around the corner and that means it’s time to feast. With all the preparations and planning, chances are many of us still don’t know what to wear. There is a lot of eating to do in the day ahead, so we recommend being comfy cute for the holiday. Here’s some outfit inspiration to get you started.
Oversized Cardigan
Throwing on an oversized cardigan is an easy solution for your food baby problems! Wear something neutral underneath and use a bold cardigan as a statement piece. You can definitely feel cozy while looking stylish, especially if you have a cardigan that drapes well.
Skirt + Untucked Sweater
More often than not, you see sweaters tucked into skirts in order to achieve that “hourglass” look. It’s time to break that rule. With a midi length skirt of your choice, couple it with a sweater that isn’t too thin and leave it untucked. In our opinion, this pairing works better when the sweater is a little chunkier and slouchier and with a skirt that’s either flowy accordian-style or has a side slit.
Paper Bag Pants
Although these type of pants tend to be high-waisted, they aren’t necessarily tight around your midriff! The paper bag feature allows you to adjust the tie to your comfort while still creating dimension to your outfit. This pairs well with a fitted white shirt and flats–thus keeping the pants the highlight of your fashion ensemble.
Loose Dresses
There’s no need to wear a tight-fitted dress on Thanksgiving! Instead, opt for a loose dress that flows around your body. A knit dress or an autumn-colored floral dress work well here. Something that would also work and is quite trendy nowadays is the overall dress. This can be a comfortable look and give you space to get seconds or thirds of your dinner.
