If there was one thing that you need to have in your closet, I will probably say a pleated skirt. It’s a classic piece for every season and can be wear day or night. For the hot summer days, you can choose an airy lightweight skirt and pair it with any kind of sandals. Since there is something so elegant and sophisticated in this fabric, you can wear it with your favourite “ugly” flat sandals (Birkenstock for example), and still looking classy, but in a effortlessly cool way.

I must admit I have a many pleated skirts in my closet, but this Aritzia skirt is my current favourite. It’s feminine and floaty and I also love the fact that the natural earthy colour can actually go with everything, from t-shirt to airy knit or with any printed top.
