The Perfect Pop Of Color

The Perfect Pop Of Color

As previously forecasted from the fashion runway, red is the color of the season. A red monochromatic outfit would be bold and memorable, but a simple red pop of color can make just as big of a statement. Rina shows us how:

As I write this at the airport on my way home from New York Fashion Week, I’ve never been more excited to start wearing the colour red. Walking along fifth avenue, I came across the Bergdorf Goodman’s window display and one window was completely dedicated to the colour red.

Red monochromatic ensembles appear to be one of the biggest trends of the upcoming fall season and red accessories are a must. I couldn’t wait to start styling the new Coach x Selena Gomez bag which paired perfectly with my go-to denim and blazer look. I plan to try some bold looks with the colour red for upcoming Vancouver Fashion Week and I have a few NYFW looks to share that incorporated pops of red in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned!

How do you plan to wear red for Fall?

“Attending private school and wearing uniforms, I always felt the need to test the boundaries. Whether it was with my sky-high hairstyles or slight uniform infractions, I was always looking for a way to stand out amongst my conformed peers. To this day, I still find myself testing the boundaries with my fashion choices and encouraging others to do the same. You can follow my journey through my social media channels as well as my personal blog for fashion, beauty and travel tips as well as “How to’s” for styling the latest trends.” –Rina, And She Dressed.
