For many of us, a T-shirt is a very basic top. It’s not a statement piece, it doesn’t have any interesting cuts, and if you’re like me, it’s simply just worn around the house. But if you want to upgrade a basic stop, then unique details are what make a T-shirt memorable and a less basic shirt. It could be the stitching, the collar, the sleeves, anything! Toronto Fashion week is over, and I am so happy to return back to my comfy jeans and T-shirt. Recently I discovered a creative brand called Poches & Fils that offer a great selection of T-shirts with unique and beautiful customize-able pockets with printed patterns. I love the funky and fun designs–they remind me that we don’t need to take fashion too seriously, since fashion is all about fun and creativity.

My favourite T-shirt pocket is the peacock print because the colours are so vibrant and perfect for spring. You can pair it with any look, jeans, shorts and even with a pencil skirt for a classy yet cool vibe.
