Wear Maxi Dresses In Wintertime
Winter weather is commonly associated with sweaters and pants as the fashion combo for the season. But depending on the climate of your home, you can get away with more creative outfits that still keep you warm. Rina shows us how to wear maxi dresses during these chilly times.

Do you have a closet full of maxi dresses that only come out during the warm summer months? Today, I’m sharing a few tips on how to style your maxi dresses for colder days so don’t pack them away just yet!

1. Pair your maxi with over the knee (OTK) boots. Not only does it look super stylish, it will keep your legs nice and warm! For added insulation, throw on a pair of tights under your boots. Styling hack: Wear a pair of leather leggings under your leather boots to give the illusion that your boots are thigh high.

2. Throw on your favourite moto leather jacket. Layering is key during the cold winter months so play around with your jacket options. If a leather jacket doesn’t provide enough insulation, try layering your coats. Check out this post for ideas on how to do this!

3. Throw on your best winter accessories. As you’ve probably seen in many posts lately, the cabby hat is one of my go-to winter accessories. I’m also a big fan of coloured-lens sunglasses that are a bit quirky and out there.

Warmth is key when transitioning any piece of clothing for Winter so get creative with your maxi dresses and wear them all year long!

“Attending private school and wearing uniforms, I always felt the need to test the boundaries. Whether it was with my sky-high hairstyles or slight uniform infractions, I was always looking for a way to stand out amongst my conformed peers. To this day, I still find myself testing the boundaries with my fashion choices and encouraging others to do the same. You can follow my journey through my social media channels as well as my personal blog for fashion, beauty and travel tips as well as “How to’s” for styling the latest trends.” -Rina, And She Dressed.
