SNL Spoofs Rom-Coms and Lack of Female Superhero Movies

Saturday Night Live gave Black Widow her own movie this weekend. Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow in the Avengers) hosted the show and SNL used the opportunity to parody  by-the-numbers romantic comedies, which are   usually   always marketed to women.

They also  tapped into growing  criticism that female superheroes often take a back seat to the male characters. Take a look….
