Women’s History Month 2017: 11 Best Social Media Posts, Pt 1

Happy Women’s History Month! It fills us with great pride to celebrate this month and remember the impressive women who have made a difference in science, business, politics, the arts, and more.  Especially in modern times, we are reminded of how women have persisted in the face of opposition and will continue to persevere for a world in which equality is not a goal but a standard. People and organizations around the world will be participating every day in this special month, so we’ll do a roundup every week of some of the most memorable social media posts we’ve seen. Check them out below!

You were made to be brave. You were made for this very moment. If you're feeling small right now, especially from our current administration, you're not small. You are a well of limitless possibilities and you are loved and supported. Today kicks off #WomensHistoryMonth. Let's celebrate our heroines of the past and present, as well as think about what greatness we can aspire to ourselves. This is a sketch I did months ago but it still gives me a daily boost.

Happy Women's History Month! 😌 This month, we take a moment to appreciate all the bosses and powerful women who have helped us to achieve and succeed. I know Blue Sparrow couldn't have started without all the strong females who took business risks in the past, so today we say Thank You. 🎉
