SNL Gets A Jump On Feminist Critique Of Super Bowl Ads

SNL was really on point with the feminist content last night. There was the send-up of beauty pageants with Miss Trash 2015, though I suppose you could make a counter argument that there was some slut shaming or something going on with that sketch.   I thought they made good use of the women in the cast. Oh, and I hate beauty pageants.

Cicely Strong brought her “One-dimentional character from a male driven comedy” back to Weekend Update, which I thought was another win and an on-the-nose critique of bro comedies.

However my favorite was the “Totino’s Super Bowl Activity Pack for Women.” They nailed this satirical take on sexist Super Bowl ads.   Watch:
